How To Build A Deck - A 10 Step Guide
Hi all! I've been both playing Order and Chaos Duels and a member of this forum for a while now. Over time, I have noticed that there has been a lot of discussion on how to build a deck. So I have taken it upon myself to write a comprehensive guide about this topic in the hope that it could prove useful - especially for beginners.
So if you're ready? Here we go![/align]
Foreword
A lot of the content in this guide will touch on concepts about already covered in another guide; concepts such as board advantage, hit point advantage and tempo.
And so it would be useful to learn more about these concepts explained in the "How To Win In Multiplayer" guide before delving into this guide.
You can access the "How To Win In Multiplayer" guide via the link below:

Introduction
Deck building is a involved process in which cards are selected and compiled into a deck to support specific goals when used in a duel.
These goals can be arbitrary but all of them ultimately serve to help the deck owner to win the duel.
There are many ways by which decks can be built. This guide will detail one way to build a deck which is based on personal experience and other deck building guides read on other TCG (trading card game) forums.
The advice provided in this guide is of a general nature. It is not specific enough to tell you exactly what cards to include in your deck.
Rather than to tell you what cards to include your deck, this guide aims to teach you how go about choosing cards to include in your deck.
It aims to improve your deck building skills so that you will better equipped to create decks of your own that are both efficient and effective.
Step 1 - Conduct A Card Audit
The first step to our deck building process is to first work out what cards we have and which of those cards are our best in our card collection.
To do this, we need to conduct a card audit of our card collection. To learn how to conduct a card audit, clink on the link below:

At the end of our card audit, we should be able to produce several lists of our best cards in terms of their ability to help us gain tempo.
The cards that help us gain tempo the most will be ranked high on the list and the cards that help us gain tempo the least will be ranked low on the list.
Here is an example of such lists:
Hero List
Minion Lists - Ranked Best To Worst
Spell Lists - Ranked Best To Worst
Enchantment Lists - Ranked Best To Worst
Equipment Lists - Ranked Best To Worst
