Hi I'm on android and haven't got the update yet, but would like to provide some analysis on the new cards that have came out. This update is pretty huge and would change gameplay quite a bit.
Here I reviewed some the cards, I rated the cards out of 5, if ios users have played the game and some of the mechanics are wrong please correct me.
Aeriana's Storm - OP (5/5) - Raijin + this is instant +3 mana. best used first turn second to go, u'll have 7 mana. If opponent puts out a minion, u can then instantly summon Abyss Tribunal to -4 their mana on their next turn or use Paralytic Bond to -3 their mana for 2 turns. You can subsequently drop more Abyss Tribunal or Paralytic Bond, to keep their mana at a minimum. You'll have big advantage. Opponent can only counteract with own Aeriana's storm to gain back some tempo. Control opponents may drop no minions or just invisible/anti-magic minions. Further, this card is also useful to get rid of weakened or stunned minions.
Totem Lord - 5/5 - If the game works as I suspect, this would be a very hard card to penetrate if it gains Anti-Magic Field. If it is out in the 1st or 2nd turn, it would probably be good to try to attack the hero to try to kill the totem. By the 2nd turn, if it isn't killed, Spell Shatter or Peaceblossom makes their hero immune to any damage. Only combat damage can affect it but it also has 3 armor. So I think the more effective way to kill it is to place Eidolon of War. Apocalypse or Last Meal will not work well if opponent use Spell Shatter / Peaceblossom. In the current version, Doom cannot be retargeted/reapplied if the minion already has Doom, so the minion keeps gaining 2 atk / 2 hp, so I'm not sure if this is intended or fixed. In any case, Eidolon of War is a triggered Doom on opponent's turn, so if opp use Spell Shatter / Peaceblossom, Doom wont be applied at all. This card can be used to delay the summoning of more powerful cards, and can be as effective or better than FLE.
Abrenax the Insane - 4/5 - This is a great card. Weakness is it can be killed by rush e.g. Reckless Bloodrager, SRT, Scarlett + Steed
Abyss Tribunal - 4/5 - Great card to drop opponent's mana. Use Aeriana's Storm on Raijin to get it out early and/or Aeriana's Storm on this to gain even more mana.
Eidolon of War - 4/5 - Probably a must card to counter Totem Lord and other hardened minions.
Apocalypse - 4/5 - This will be very risky if used on opponent's monsters because if they have Spellshatter u will basically be boosting all their monsters in subsequent turns. However, if you use it when ur field is full and Doom your own monsters, then apply Spellshatter on ur next turn u will make all your own monsters powerhouses.
Peaseblossom - 4/5 - Great versatile card, it can be used to boost rush minions or protect minions like Totem Lord from magic
Kzakendrag - 4/5 - Great card, stunning all minions is very good. However, cannot rely on it as opponent can use Aerianna's Storm to get rid of stunned minions.
Paralytic Bond - 3/5 - Great card to keep opponent's mana low if they already have a minion on the field.
Asteria of the Wild - 3/5 - This card is not bad, but with high mana cost, Eidolon of War can easily counter it.
Celestial Archwings - 3/5 - Not bad support card, but as with Yggdrasil Sanctuary, risk of getting countered by King Vulcan or Arcane Trap
Bloodlust Goia - 3/5 - Not bad card, very high HP for 5 mana.
Ibran's Revenge - 3/5 - May be hard to pull off effect, can be destroyed by magic or Eidolon of War.
Sniper Catalin - 3/5 - Not bad, but I still think swiftblade is still better alternative when looking to rush. This can be additional.
Widow of Demise - 2/5 - Not as good as Smite of God
Fallen Hildr - 1/5 - Scathi is better
